Cathy Imlay, Business Manager

Cathy has been married to Dr. Imlay since 1983. Cathy is the business manager for the practice. Her duties include paying the bills, ordering office supplies, landscaping, and interior office design.

Kris Wilson, Office Manager

Associates Degree Administrative Assistant, Ferris State University 1993

Kris has been a part of the AHA family since 1991. She has worked in different capacities - first as a receptionist and, since 2004,as the office manager. Kris and her husband Kevin have 2 children, Kendyl and Konnor, a yellow lab named Clover, as well as pet rabbits. Kris enjoys attending Beal City sporting events, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Tammy Jones, Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant

Tammy has been a member of the AHA team since 2005. She and her husband Scott have three daughters: Jess, Amber, and Bethany. Tammy is use to a full house when it comes to pets. She has previously raised Brittany Spaniels and typically has a cat or two around as well.

Nicole Bristley,, Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Nicole has worked at Animal Health Associates since 2007. She participated in 4-H for 4 years and enjoys riding and showing horses. Nicole also enjoys being outdoors as well as spending time with family and friends.

Carol MacDonald, Receptionist

"Carol Mac" joined our family in 2006. She has a husband, Mike, and two children, Megan and Stuart. She has two beagles named Caramel and Fudge. In addition, she has two cats: Vanilla and Sunday. Carol hails from the Upper Peninsula and is known around the office as the "Sooper Yooper"!

Kerrie Strope, Receptionist

Central Michigan University, Bachelors in Business Administration, 1992

Kerrie started working at Animal Health Associates in October of 2009. She has a husband, Mike, and two daughters, Tori and Lexi. They also have a beagle named Rosco. When not at work Kerrie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and running. She also likes to garden and go to the beach.

Micah Shafer, Maintenance

Micah has been with Animal Health Associates since 2009. He attended Mid Michigan Community College for Visual Arts. Micah was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and has been a family friend of the Imlays since he was a child. Growing up, Micah was coached by Dr. Imlay in many sports. He likes helping at Animal Health Associates in every field including room preparation, cleaning, and assisting the doctors. He prides himself in taking care of the clinic's needs, as well as the doctors. In his spare time, Micah is an avid cyclist and enjoys working on single speed bikes. He loves painting, drawing, and animals.

Brittany Courser, Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant

Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources 2011

Brittany started working at Animal Health Associates in 2013. She is a native of Mount Pleasant where her bird Oliver and her horse Fuzz reside. Brittany attended Michigan State University and has a degree in Animal Science and Agri-Business Management and is certified in equine massage. She enjoys showing horses and livestock in her spare time as well as reading, and spending time in Florida.

Angie Kleinhans, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Baker College of Cadillac, 2008

Angie is a 2008 graduate of Baker College of Cadillac and has a degree in Veterinary Technology. She grew up on a tiny registered Holstein dairy farm near Owosso and has had a life-long love for agriculture and animal medicine. She happily joined the AHA team in 2013 as their first licensed technician. In her spare time she enjoys being with family and friends and doing anything outdoors. She has one dog, a gentle Rottweiler and Shepherd mix named Hannah.

Emily Bryant, Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Northwood University, Bachelors in Business Administration

Emily is a local, having grown up on a large beef and cash crop farm in Shepherd. She has been heavily involved in animals and 4-H. Today, she still serves as a 4-H leader and superintendent of beef for Isabella County. In her spare time, Emily enjoys winters up-North on the slopes skiing and snowboarding as well as spending time with her old chocolate lab, Hershey.

Jenny Bluhm,, Veterinary Assistant

Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, 2014

Jenny, daughter of Alex and Cathy Imlay, grew up around animals and helping her dad on farm calls. She has always had a love for animals, especially for her horses, showing competitively during high school and college. Jenny attended Michigan State University’s school of Animal Science, competing on the equestrian team and working on the Arabian Farm, where she was able to show, breed, and foal out horses. She continues to spend her spare time riding, training, and showing horses. She also loves spending time with her adopted cat, Stanley and her dog Jara. Her newest career choice is here at AHA, and she is extremely excited to be a part of the Animal Health Associates Team.

Jillian Spachman, Veterinary Assistant

Jillian began working at Animal Health Associates in May of 2016 after being a long time client. She is currently studying to become a veterinary technician. Jillian is a life long resident of Rosebush where she resides with her husband Ben and their two dogs, Hank a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and Bale a Catahoula Leopard Dog. They also have three cats: Kease, Mar, and BatCat. Jillian enjoys spending time with her family, taking her pups swimming, fishing, and gardening.
